ESP Bass Scholarship, Musicians Institute, USA

Musicians Institute and ESP Guitar Company have created the ESP Bass Scholarship to assist stylistically diverse bass guitarists with their educational development.

The scholarship details and criteria are as follows:

• One ESP Bass Scholarship is awarded each Fall and Spring enrollment.
• Available to international students and U.S. citizens.
• Scholarship applicants must have submitted the Application for Admissions by the scholarship application deadline and must be entering the program for the first time.
• May only be applied to the Associate of Arts in Performance (Bass) Program. Certificate and MI Select programs are not eligible
• The total scholarship award will be $1,500 and a new ESP Bass.
• Award will be credited toward the first quarter of tuition as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress.
• Scholarships are non-transferable, and may not be applied to any person, program or start date other than the one for which it was awarded.

Requirements & Checklist:

• Scholarship Application
• DVD video which must contain at a minimum: three (3) stylistically diverse songs on your instrument. It is recommended that this include two (2) live ensemble (band or duo) performances, and one (1) solo piece in various styles. You may use electric and/or acoustic bass.

Application Deadline
For programs beginning: Spring 2016
Deadline is: February 26, 2016
Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
