Chuo University Student Exchange Program, Japan

Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)Chuo University gives opportunity for Undergraduate and Graduate Students of UGM to join exchange student program in the academic year of 2014. The class will be conducted in Japanese.

Requirements:

  1. Undergraduate students of UGM who are in semester 3-6 and Graduate students of UGM who are minimum in semester 3
  2. Complete application form with one identical photograph (3×4 cm, recently taken, full face, background should be white)
  3. A statement of purpose (briefly indicate applicant’s study purpose and study/research plan written clearly and precisely in English or Japanese)
  4. Certificate of health
  5. Official certificate of enrollment and academic transcript
  6. Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency – at least Level 3 or N3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)
  7. Proficient in English – TOEFL 550, Computer-based TEOFL 213, TOEFL IBT 60, or IELTS 6.0 (taken within 2 years) (TOEFL Prediction will not be accepted)
  8. Certificate(s) of Undergraduate Degrees and recommendation letter from an academic advisor (applicants for Graduate Program)
  9. Certificate of Eligibility with two (2) photographs, declaration and certificate of finances, verification of financial statement (a bank statement indicating saving balance, letter from scholarship foundation, etc), photocopy of passport – Application materials for visa document
  10. Personal history, letter of nomination from faculty to OIA UGM
