THE GOVERNMENT OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM SCHOLARSHIP
TO FOREIGN STUDENTS TENABLE IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to invite applications for the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship to Foreign Students Tenable in Brunei Darussalam for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The Scholarship provides applicants with the opportunity to pursue studies at the Diploma, Undergraduate Degree and Postgraduate Master’s Degree level at the following institutions of higher education in Brunei:

Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD),
Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA),
Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB),
Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) and
Politeknik Brunei (PB).

Criteria

Malaysian & International individuals aged between 17 – 25 years old
Have not been through any formal culinary courses
Meets minimum entry requirements of programme
SPM / SPMV / O-Level: Pass with minimum 3 credits /
UEC: Pass with minimum 3 Grade Bs
English Language Requirement: Sunway Intensive English Programme (IEP) Level 3 or IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
Other Qualifications: Any other qualifications will be considered on a case-to-case basis
All applicants are required submit an essay based on the shortlisting criteria as stated below.
Only shortlisted applicants will be called for the Sunway University Young Chef Cook-Off
All shortlisted applicants must attend the Cook-Off session as specified by Sunway University

Van Deventer-Maas Stichting (VDMS) Scholarship – Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)

Amount of Scholarship and Benefits

IDR 650.000,- will be paid directly to the grantees’ bank account every month on the same date (not applicable due to Saturday/Sunday and Public Holiday)
One time TOEFL Bonus (if any) and on time Graduation (exam) Bonus
Free to join Capacity Building (to be selected), which held by Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia

Duration of Support
The scholarship starts from the 2^nd year up to the standard duration of the study (S1 = 2^nd – 4^th year, D3 = 2^nd – 3^rd year), unless he/she is underperforms (IPK < 3.00), on leave, no confirmation of fund recipient and no news within a certain period of time, will get no scholarship during those period.

Age not more than 27
Financially deprived (stated in SKTM and/or Recommendation Letter of financial condition issued by the University)
IPK = 3.00

Dalam rangka ikut serta mencerdaskan anak bangsa dan mendorong kemajuan industri di Indonesia melalui penciptaan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing, PT Astra International Tbk melalui Politeknik Manufaktur Astra memberikan Beasiswa Prestasi Astra kepada putra/putri lulusan tahun 2014 dari SMA/SMK sederajat, dengan sasaran untuk mengembangkan kualitas program pendidikan Diploma 3 Politeknik Manufaktur Astra, dalam rangka menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas global dan membantu menunjang kemajuan industri.

Program Beasiswa Prestasi Astra ini diharapkan dapat membantu pembiayaan studi bagi siswa yang berprestasi secara akademis tetapi mengalami kendala pembiayaan. Program beasiswa ini akan dikelola oleh Politeknik Manufaktur Astra.

BENTUK BEASISWA
Program Beasiswa Prestasi Astra ini terdiri dari 2 jenis yaitu Program Beasiswa Penuh dan Program Beasiswa Unggulan, dengan penjabaran sebagai berikut :

Program Beasiswa Penuh, diberikan dalam bentuk bebas biaya kuliah selama 3 (tiga) tahun dan pemberian uang saku bagi mahasiswa yang bersangkutan setiap bulannya. Besarnya uang saku ditentukan oleh Surat Keputusan Direktur Politeknik Manufaktur Astra. Politeknik Manufaktur Astra akan melakukan evaluasi terhadap pemberian beasiswa di tiap semester dan berhak melanjutkan atau memberhentikan pemberian Program Beasiswa Prestasi sesuai syarat dan ketentuan yang berlaku.
Program Beasiswa Unggulan, diberikan kepada calon penerima beasiswa yang telah ikut dalam proses seleksi Program Beasiswa Penuh dan lolos seleksi sampai dengan tahap Psikotes dan Wawancara, akan tetapi karena keterbatasan kuota tidak masuk pada Program Beasiswa Penuh. Program Beasiswa Unggulan diberikan dalam bentuk bebas uang sumbangan pendidikan.

The Arabic Language Institute for Non Arabic Speakers Scholarships, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia

The General Diploma in Arabic as a Foreign Language is a 60- credit hour program offered in 4 semesters of full-time study. The program is intended to develop students’ linguistic competence in all four language skills (Listening – Speaking – Reading and Writing). This will enable them to use the target language by direct contact in real life situations. Students who successfully pass with honors official assessments will be awarded a diploma certificate in Arabic as a foreign language (DCAFL). Our program mainly employs the” Arabic between Your Hands” series, published by the foundation of “Arabic for all”.

Admission Requirements:

Candidates should be 17-25 years old.
Applicants should provide required documents, and get statement showing his/ her country approval to study in KSA.
Applicants should never receive any other offer of scholarship from any Saudi Institution.
Applicants should provide an official statement of good conduct and never convicted of criminal acts.
Candidates should never be dismissed from any Saudi Educational Institution.
All Documents need to be authenticated in accordance to university regulations.
Candidates need to pass medical inspection.
Applicants should obtain General Secondary Certificate or equivalent.

Admission Procedures:

Exclusively considered applications are those, successfully completed, conciliating conditions, and submitted before annually announced deadlines.
Applications are to be initially directed to Saudi Embassies/ Consulates all over the world, and the Institute. The Institute will examine them, and send candidatures to the MOHE for final approval.
The relevant board at MOHE will review candidates’ papers and send endorsed lists to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for issuing entry visas.

Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) offers a range of financial award schemes namely Scholarships, Merit Awards and Bursaries which aims at helping students cope with the cost of art education in Singapore.
