Nailekhanim Foundation Scholarship, Khazar University, Azerbaijan

For 2024-2025, the Nailekhanim Foundation (Azerbaijan) offers a high-profile competition-based one full scholarship for a gifted female student, regardless of national background and citizenship, who 1) is determined to pursue her studies towards a post-graduate academic degree (either Master or Doctoral) at and 2) submitted her general application to Khazar University (Baku, Azerbaijan) by no later than 1 June 2024.

The Nailakhanim Foundation is a non-for-profit organisation that was established in memory of Nailekhanim Isayeva, co-founder of Dünya School and Khazar University. Nailekhanim was a renowned educator whose vision and energy shaped the development of both institutions. The Foundation is set up to commemorate her passion and commitment to education.

Eira Francis Davies Scholarship, Swansea University, UK

The Eira Francis Davies Scholarship is a full tuition fee scholarship ordinarily awarded to one outstanding female student per academic year. The student must be a national of and resident in an eligible developing country, who pursues a postgraduate taught Master’s programme within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science.

Applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  1. hold a minimum 2:1 Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
  2. have formally received an offer to study one of the following full-time, postgraduate taught Master’s programmes at Swansea University for entry September 2023:
  3. be female.
  4. be a new student to Swansea University from September 2024.
  5. within their application, demonstrate strong academic ability, financial plan to study and motivation for their chosen course at Swansea University.
  6. be a national, and permanent resident of an Eira Francis Davies Eligible Countries 2024 as listed by the World Bank Country and Lending Groups classification as being ‘low income’ or ‘lower-middle income’ as of 1 July 2023.
  7. not receive any other financial support from Swansea University (e.g. tuition fee reduction, scholarship or bursary).
  8. not be a progressing student from The College, Swansea University.

Fully Funded KNB Scholarship for International Students, Indonesia

Beasiswa Kemitraan Negara Berkembang, popularly known as KNB Scholarship, is a prestigious scholarship program offered by the government of Republic of Indonesia to selected applicants originating from developing countries. Managed by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, the scholarship has been disbursed since 2006 to 1,608 recipients from 97 countries.

The role of KNB Scholarship, has been central in supporting Indonesian higher education institutions in their endeavor for internationalization. The number of international students is indicative of global visibility of higher education institutions. In support of Indonesian universities’ internationalization and to accommodate the increasing interests from applicants all around the world, the number of scholarships being awarded every year has continued to grow.

University of Waikato Doctoral Scholarship, New Zealand

University of Waikato New ZealandAs part of our commitment to postgraduate research, the University of Waikato provides Doctoral Scholarships for students to undertake a doctoral degree at the University of Waikato.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The Scholarship is open to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and international students.
  2. Doctoral Scholarships are open to students enrolling in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA), Doctor of Education (EdD), or Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD).
  3. A candidate will normally be seeking to obtain their first doctoral qualification.
  4. Candidates should normally be intending to study full-time at the University of Waikato.
    1. Candidates who have socially compelling reasons for enrolling in part-time study (e.g. illness, disability, parent or carer responsibilities) may apply to the Scholarships Executive for permission to be awarded a Scholarship on a part-time basis. The candidate should outline the reasons for the request in their Statement of Research Interest, and provide appropriate evidence of the need to study part-time. These requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
    2. During any period of part-time enrolment, the value and duration of a recipient’s Scholarship would be adjusted on a pro rata basis.
    3. Candidates will not be granted permission to hold a University of Waikato Doctoral Scholarship on a part-time basis if they wish to undertake full-time paid employment or substantial part-time employment (see Regulation 9).
    4. Recipients are required to change to full-time enrolment if a change in their circumstances means they no longer qualify to hold the Scholarship on a part-time basis.
  5. Candidates employed by the University of Waikato will not normally be eligible for the Scholarship.
  6. Employment as a sessional assistant, or similar, may be permitted, provided the hours worked do not contravene Regulation

Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship, Bond University, Australia

The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) stipends are provided to support the general living costs of both domestic and overseas students undertaking Research Doctorate degrees.

Australia Awards Scholarships

Australia Awards Scholarships are long-term awards administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
