Newcastle University UKNewcastle University is pleased to offer 40 Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships (VCES) for outstanding international applicants who apply to commence full-time Master’s studies.

There are 39 50% tuition fee scholarships and 1 100% tuition fee scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the 50% scholarships applicants must:

  • be a national of one of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Venezuela
  • be assessed as international for fee purposes
  • hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
  • already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above

Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.

To be considered for the 100% scholarships applicants must:

  • be a national of the following country: India
  • be assessed as international for fee purposes
  • hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
  • already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above

Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.
