Curtin Health Science – English Language Bridging Scholarships, Curtin University, Australia

This scholarship will provide English Language Bridging Intensive courses (ELB) for students from China and Hong Kong who are eligible for an undergraduate Faculty of Health Sciences course at Curtin Bentley, and students from Indonesia who are eligible for a postgraduate Faculty of Health Sciences course at Curtin Bentley.

Value
This scholarship provides 100 per cent of tuition fees of the English Lanuage Bridging intensive Course.

There are:

  • 10 scholarships for students from China
  • 6 scholarships for students from Indonesia
  • 4 scholarships for students from Hong Kong

Eligible courses
All Health Science courses will be considered excluding Master of Physiotherapy and Master of Psychology.

Undergraduate courses are available for Chinese and Hong Kong students ONLY

Postgraduate courses are available for Indonesian students ONLY

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must

  • be a future international student from China, Indonesia or Hong Kong
  • enroll in the Curtin ELB intensive course commencing 21 November 2012
  • achieve the following in IELTS or equivalent English Language proficiency test:
    • an overall band of 5.5 for health science programs requiring a level of 6.0; or
    • an overall band of 6.0 for health sciences programs requiring a level of 6.5; or
    • an overall band of 6.5 for health sciences programs requiring a level of 7.0
