The Focal Petroleum Scholarship is available to undergraduate students enrolled full-time in their first year at Curtin University undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering (Petroleum Engineering).
The scholarship is being offered by Focal Petroleum Engineering Pty Ltd– an independent engineering consulting firm specializing in the areas of Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir Engineering and Production Operations. The company has been servicing clients in the domestic and international oil and gas industries for the past 17 years. Through this scholarship, Focal Petroleum Engineering seeks to reward and develop students interested in petroleum engineering.
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the Focal Petroleum Scholarship:
Be an Australian citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident
Be commencing or be enrolled in their 1st year of study of a 312158
Bachelor of Engineering (Petroleum Engineering) in Semester 1 2011 as a full-time student.
Be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported place at the University.
