Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), is ranked among Europe’s top tier business schools, providing ground-breaking research and education. RSM offers 14 pre-experience Master programmes (MSc). Our 12-month programmes are: Accounting & Financial Management, Business Information Management, Strategic Entrepreneurship, Finance & Investments, Global Business & Sustainability, Human Resource Management, Management of Innovation, Marketing Management, Organisational Change & Consulting, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management. RSM also offers the 16-month programme Master in Management programme aimed at graduates with non-business bachelors. Besides that RSM offers an 18-month MSc International Management, in corporation with the CEMS consortium and a 16-month MSc in Finance & Investments Advanced programme. These two programmes do not qualify for an Orange Tulip Scholarship but applicants can qualify for other scholarships offered by RSM.

All of the full-time programmes do not require working experience and are, depending on the programme, open to students with a bachelor degree from a research university in business administration, engineering, finance, economics and accounting and other disciplines. The Master in Management programme is open to graduates with bachelor degrees from research universities in any discipline. All programmes are taught in English.

RSM is located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second largest city and largest commercial port. As an integrated transport hub, Rotterdam is reputed as the gateway to Europe and thus serves as the ideal setting for a premier, international business school. Rotterdam has a reputation in the Netherlands and beyond for its progressive outlook on many areas of urban life.

Academic Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree

English Level:

  • TOEFL iBT min. score 94 minimum sub-score 22 (Reading, Listening and Speaking) and sub-score 24 for Writing
  • or IELTS minimum overall score 7.0, minimum 6.5 on all sub-scores
  • or Cambridge CAE or BEC minimum grade C or CPE minimum grade C1

GPA: Applicants are expected to have obtained a GPA that is equivalent to a 7 out of 10 in the Dutch education system, which is considered to be above average. Please note that the RSM Admissions Manager will ultimately decide whether a GPA is sufficient or not. GMAT: min. score 600

Working Experience: no, working experience is not a requirement

This scholarship is meant for prospective students only, thus, this scholarship is NOT meant for currently enrolled RSM and EUR students and is NOT meant for students with an EEA nationality. All details regarding the MSc admissions process at RSM for the academic year 2019/2020 will be published by 15 September 2018 at www.rsm.nl/masteradmissions. The value of the partial scholarship is between 30% and 50% of the € 18,000 tuition fee. The Dutch Government requires students to pay a minimum fee of approximately € 2,078, which is the statutory tuition fee of the Netherlands.

Please note that we can only take a scholarship application into consideration if: (1) it is complete and meets all of the requirements on 1 March 2019 at the latest, and (2) an application for the MSc programme is submitted through the online application system of RSM, called OLAF.
