Charles W. Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction, University of Nebraska at Lincoln
Omaha, NE, United States
Architectural Engineering (AE) focuses on the design, integration and coordination of building engineering systems, including structural systems; heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems; acoustical systems; and lighting and electrical systems. The University of Nebraska AE program is part of the Charles W. Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction. It is offered on the Omaha campus in the Peter Kiewit Institute Building.
Description: Postdoc Position at University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Project: Magnetoelastic analysis of nano-structures for sensor applications
Contract: One year, extendable
Job Description
Nano-structures have opened many possibilities and opportunities to produce an entire new generation of sensor devices for acoustic, vibration, tactile, flow measurements, and etc. However, most studies of mechanical and electromagnetic properties of nano-structure were limited to experimental basis. There is a lack of modeling and design tools for the dynamic and electromagnetoelastic analysis of nano-structures.
