University of Oxford, UKHow do I apply?
You must make an application to the University through UCAS by 15 October 2013 and be successful in gaining a place. You will then need to complete a separate scholarship application form and arrange for two references to be submitted on your behalf.

The deadline for scholarship applications and references is 12 noon (UK time) on Friday 21 February 2014. Please note that we cannot consider applications from candidates who have not been offered a place at Oxford.

Students should note they must apply for admission to the University before they can be considered for a Reach Oxford Scholarship. The University is unable to consider any scholarship applications from students who have not been offered a place at Oxford. The University is not responsible for the content of external sites advertising the scheme and would encourage applicants to read the following details to check their eligiblity.

A number of Reach Oxford scholarships (formerly Oxford Student Scholarships) are offered to students from low income countries who, for political or financial reasons, or because suitable educational facilities do not exist, cannot study for a degree in their own countries.

KODAK Scholarship Program in Film / Cinematography, Worldwide

For university or college students of film, film production, or cinematography at the undergraduate or graduate levels in a degree or diploma program. Nominations must be made by the school department or program official.

Prizes Awarded in this Worldwide Program (awarded in US or local dollar equivalent)

Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking Category:

  • Gold: $1,500 Scholarship Tuition Award and $5,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant
  • Silver: $1,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $4,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant
  • Bronze: $500 Scholarship Tuition Award and $3,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant
  • Honorable Mentions: Two $2,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grants

A Blue Ribbon Jury will evaluate all submitted work and make all final selections. The jury will consist of one individual from Kodak and one from the University Film & Video Association (UFVA), plus a representative from the filmmaking industry. Nominees will be evaluated on the basis of academic achievement, creative and technical ability, communications ability, and range of filmmaking experience. Visual Imagery will count 50%, creative and other technical skills 25%, and the other criteria 25%.

Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Korea

We are very delighted to announce that our university, one of the KGSP participating universities in Korea, plans to recommend 10 qualified international students from this regions listed below to National Institute for International Education(NIIED) as Korean government scholarship students, who can study at our university for their M.A. or Ph.D. degree (including one-year Korean language course) with government-sponsored scholarship from the Fall semester 2012.

Master Scholarships, University of Twente, The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP)

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) fosters capacity building within organizations in 61 developing countries by providing training and education to their mid-career staff members at the University of Twente. The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes is an initiative of the Dutch government.

Requirements for application
Applicants must:

  • be a national and working in one of the countries above
  • be a mid-career professional with at least three years work experience
  • be nominated by his/her employer
  • have been unconditionally admitted by the University of Twente to one of the master degree programmes
  • have completed an NFP Master’s Degree Programme application form and have submitted all the required documentation to the Netherlands embassy or consulate
  • not be employed by a large industrial, commercial, international or multinational organization
  • offer evidence of proficiency in speaking and writing the language of instruction
  • be available for the entire period of the programme and be physically and mentally able to take part in the entire programme
  • declare that they will return to their home country immediately after the study programme has ended
  • comply with country-specific rules set by RNE (for more information please contact the Netherlands Embassy or consulate in your home country)
  • candidate must not have received an NFP fellowship or any other fellowship in the three years prior to the start of the proposed programme (MA, SC or PhD)

New Zealand Development Scholarship

The New Zealand Development Scholarships (NZDS) scheme offers the opportunity to people from selected developing countries to undertake development-related studies in New Zealand. This may include study related to education, health, rural livelihoods, governance, human rights, or economic development, depending on the human resource development training needs of the home government.

New Zealand -Development Scholarships are offered for full-time, tertiary level study at participating New Zealand education institutions.

The NZDS scheme has two categories:

1-New Zealand Development Scholarships – Public category (NZDS-Public)
The NZDS-Public scholarships scheme is a bilateral scheme available to individuals from selected partner countries in Southeast Asia and thePacific. The selection criteria is determined by the partner government and NZAID.

Shortlisted applications, mostly from public sector employees, are endorsed for a scholarship by the partner government. Employees from civil society or private sector organisations may apply for the NZDS-Public in some countries depending on country-specific selection criteria. The levels and fields of study available for study in New Zealand are determined according to the partner country’s human resource development training needs.
