Bond University offers high academic achievers who are living outside of Australia and applying to study at an undergraduate level, with tuition remission scholarships. Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and are a testament to Bond University’s commitment to quality and outstanding international students.

Students must complete the Bond University Online Application Form to receive their program offer before applying for this scholarship.

Once an offer has been received, students must complete the Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship Application Form. The form must be completed in full and returned to international@bond.edu.au by the relevant application closing date.

  • Applications close on 26 January, 2018 for students commencing in May 2018 semester.
  • Applications close on 25 May, 2018 for students commencing in September 2018 semester.
  • Applications close on 21 September, 2018 for students commencing in January 2019 semester.

Bond University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (BUPRS), Australia

A limited number of scholarships are available to domestic and overseas students who wish to continue their education through a Higher Degree Research (HDR) PhD program.

The BUPRS scholarship is awarded through a competitive application processes. Bond University HDR Scholarships Committee meets biannually to award fee waivers and living stipends based on a merit based selection process

Students cannot apply if they are receiving an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth designed to offset HDR fees.

Eligibility
The scholarship application process is open to HDR students who are studying, or intend on studying, a PhD Doctorate by Research at Bond University.

All applicants must hold a valid Letter of Offer for enrolment in a HDR program, issued by Bond University, prior to applying for this award

These scholarships are available to international students who have demonstrated outstanding academic ability, as well as community, leadership and sporting achievements.

  • Applications for our September 2017 semester are currently open online and close Friday, 26 May, 2017.
  • Applications for our January 2018 semester are currently open and close Friday, 22 September, 2017.

Availability
Scholarships will be available to students commencing in January, May or September semester (please note that the deferral of a scholarship will only be granted in extenuating circumstances, such as illness, family bereavement or essential overseas travel).

Eligibility

  • Available to all international students applying for any undergraduate or postgraduate degree combination (excluding Bond University’s Medical Program, Master of Psychology, and Doctor of Physiotherapy).
  • Scholarships are open to international students who are not Australian citizens or holders of permanent residency visas.
  • Applicants must have outstanding academic ability, demonstrated strong leadership skills and extensive involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • Students whose first language is not English must refer to and meet Bond University’s standard English entry requirements for undergraduate applicants and English entry requirements for postgraduate applicants.
  • Applicants will be asked to submit academic statements, a summary of achievements, and letters of reference from relevant individuals who can support their application. They will also be asked to submit a 500-word personal statement outlining key achievements and attributes.

The 2016 International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) provides an opportunity for outstanding candidates to receive a living allowance covering:
