Chevening Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships programme. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations, we offer awards to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course.

International Excellence Scholarship, Brunel University London, UK

Brunel University London UKBrunel University London is pleased to offer a prestigious package of scholarships for International students. The scholarship scheme is for fully self-funded students only and is based on academic merit and professional experience. We will award scholarships to applicants who most closely meet or exceed the criteria for the award.

To apply you need to have received an offer to study on an eligible course starting in September 2019 or January 2020.

Value:

  • Postgraduate: £6,000 as a tuition fee waiver applied to the first year of study only.
  • Undergraduate: £6,000 as a tuition fee waiver, each year for a maximum of three years. The Scholarship will be paid once for each eligible level of study, subject to normal progression criteria having been met (additional payments will not be made during a repeating year, regardless of the reason for repetition).

Applicants must have applied for a full time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2019 or January 2020.

How many:

  • September entry: 110 awards will be allocated in early September, to those applicants who meet all the following eligibility criteria.
  • January entry: 20 scholarships, plus any remaining awards from September, will be allocated in January 2020.

Application process: To be considered applicants must complete a register your interest form by the stated deadlines. Applications will only be accepted if all sections of the application form have been completed and if the applicant is holding an offer on a course starting in September 2019 or January 2020.

NSIRC Scholarship, Brunel University London, UK

The College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences & TWI are offering substantial scholarships for Home, EU and Overseas fee paying students starting the full time or part time MSc in Structural Integrity (Asset Reliability Management) or MSc Oil and Gas Engineering programme in September 2019/20.

Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government. For information on these regulations please visit the independent organisation UKCISA’s website.

Scholarship holders may be expected to represent Brunel as ambassadors throughout their time at the University and to participate occasionally in various activities to help promote the University. Activities might involve representing the programme at internal and external marketing and recruitment events, providing testimonials and/or other initiatives as appropriate. Scholarship winners will be contacted by the College or Marketing team as and when participation is required.

Value
The full time scholarship is a partial fee waiver for one year only:

  • Overseas applicants: £12,500
  • UK / EU applicants: £6,750

Part time Home and EU applicants will be considered for the part time scholarship and awarded the same value Scholarship, the tuition fee waiver will be split equally across both academic years, for a maximum of two years only.

  • UK / EU applicants: £3,375 per year (£6,750 in total)

Brunel International Scholarship, Brunel University London, UK

Brunel University London is pleased to offer a prestigious package of scholarships for International students. The scholarship scheme is for self-funded students only and is based on academic achievement. We will award scholarships to applicants who most closely meet or exceed the criteria for the award.

Award details
This year we are offering two international scholarships with different values.

International Excellence Scholarship

55 awards of £6,000 as a tuition fee waiver applied to the first year of study only. Applicants must have applied for a full time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2018 or January 2019.

Santander International Scholarship

5 awards of a £3,000 cash award in the first year of study only.

Available to international students who are nationals of, and residing in, one of the following Santander Universities network countries at the time of application, namely Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, USA, and Venezuela. Other countries may be considered at Brunel’s discretion.

Applicants must have applied for a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme starting in September 2018 and have achieved the international equivalent of a UK upper second class honours degree (2:1) or higher.

How to ‘apply’ for or ‘register your interest’ and be considered for a scholarship

International Excellence Scholarship- To be considered for an International Excellence Scholarship for January 2019 applicants must complete an application form registering their interest by midnight [GMT] by the deadline of 7 December 2018. Applications will only be accepted if all sections of the application form have been completed and if the applicant is holding an offer on a course starting in January 2019.

Santander International Scholarship – To be considered for a Santander Scholarship applicants must complete a different application form which requires a personal statement by midnight [GMT] by the deadline of 7 December 2018. Applications will only be accepted if all sections of the application form have been completed and if the applicant is holding an offer on a course starting in January 2019.
