A. Requirements

Prospective students must have completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited undergraduate program at Indonesian or international universities.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.00, a minimum of an international or an institutional TOEFL score of 475, TPA score of 500 and pass the selection interview.

B. Procedures

Indonesian applicants should register online at http://daa.ugm.ac.id/daftar/. To get the password for online registration, applicants need to pay the application fee of Rp. 500.000 (TOEFL and TPA test included) at BNI. Payment does not need an account number but only the code which is 2222 followed by your birthday date. Example, if you are born on 01 February 1980, the code is 222201021980. If your payment is successful, the password will appear in the BNI proof of payment. For detailed information, please click http://um.ugm.ac.id/.
For those not living in Indonesia, application forms can be downloaded here. CRCS helps foreign applicants process the study permit and visa (VITAS) through the Office of International Affairs of UGM (detailed information, please click here)
Applicants must complete the application form and return them to CRCS office and the DAA (Directorate of Academic and administration) Kantor Pusat UGM Lt. 1 Sayap Selatan Bulaksumur Yogyakarta 55281. Applicants should enclose two copies of the application form, in addition to the following:
- Copy of the applicant’s undergraduate degree certificate and academic transcript.
- Two recommendation letters from someone who can attest to the applicant’s academic abilities, such as a former academic advisor or professor.
- Statement of purpose describing why the applicant wants to join this graduate school and how this degree would fit into the applicant’s future goals.
- Resume or CV.
- A letter from applicant’s institution/supervisor stating that he/she is released from his duties during the study at CRCS (for those with work commitments).
- Letter of physical health from a doctor.
- Copy of the application fee payment.
- Copy of the applicant’s TOEFL (ITP) score of 475 and TPA score of 500.
- BPPS applicants must complete form A, B, C, D, E and F.
- Self-addressed stamped envelope.

Beasiswa Pertukaran Pelajar ke Jepang, JENESYS (Japan – East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths)

Program JENESYS (Japan – East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) adalah program yang mempromosikan pertukaran pemuda di kawasan Asia Timur (negara-negara ASEAN, Australia, China, India, Selandia Baru, dan Korea Selatan) dengan tujuan memperdalam rasa saling pengertian di antara para remaja yang merupakan generasi penerus yang akan berperan penting di negara-negara peserta.

GARIS BESAR PROGRAM
Pemerintah Jepang akan mengundang 70 mahasiswa universitas yang tertarik untuk belajar ke Jepang, untuk mengunjungi universitas di Jepang, tempat penelitian, tempat bersejarah di Jepang, dan lain lain. Program ini rencananya akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 8 Mei 2012 hingga 16 Mei 2012. Program ini akan dilaksanakan dalam bahasa inggris, dan interpreter bahasa Jepang-Inggris atau sebaliknya akan disediakan untuk semua kegiatan.

Syarat Peserta

Peserta direkomendasikan oleh universitas untuk mengikuti program ini.
Rekomendasi oleh universitas ditentukan berdasarkan hasil seleksi di tingkat universitas.
Peserta adalah mahasiswa S1 tingkat 3 (Semester 6) yang masih aktif belajar di Universitas.
Peserta bisa berkomunikasi dalam bahasa inggris.
Peserta bersedia mempresentasikan kegiatannya selama di Jepang kepada universitas asalnya.

Biaya Peserta

Pemerintah Jepang akan menyediakan tiket pulang pergi dari Indonesia ke Jepang.
Akomodasi, tranportasi dan konsumsi selama program juga akan disediakan.
Akomodasi, transportasi di dalam Indonesia juga disediakan.

Beasiswa Debt Swap 5K Doktor, KEMDIKNAS, Indonesia – Jerman

Program Debt Swap adalah program pengurangan jumlah hutang luar negeri Indonesia. Dalam rangka mengurangi jumlah hutang Indonesia kepada Jerman, khususnya dibidang pendidikan. Kemdiknas mengajukan usulan Debt Swap VII (Program Beasiswa IGSP : Indonesian-German Scholarship Program) dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia (dalam bidang Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM)). Program Debt Swap I dan II telah dilaksanakan sebelumnya dalam sektor pendidikan, dibidang pendidikan dasar dan rehabilitasi sarana sekolah.

SASARAN PROGRAM IGSP/DS5K

Peningkatan SDM sesuai dengan Renstra Kemdiknas dengan memberikan kesempatan kepada tenaga dosen/asisten dosen untuk mendapatkan gelar Doktor dalam kurun waktu 10 (sepuluh) tahun, di mulai pada tahun 2012
Membantu pencapaian target Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional Indonesia dalam menciptakan lulusan Doktor di Indonesia.

Master Scholarships, Open Society Foundations / Durham University, UK

The Open Society Foundations / University of Durham scholarships aim to provide opportunities for independent postgraduate study in the United Kingdom for students who have demonstrated both academic excellence and the potential to become leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers in their own country. Upon completion of their studies in the UK, scholars are expected to return to their home country to resume their studies or work there. Subject to satisfactory progress, the scholarships lead to the award of a master’s degree.

Scholarships are available for the following master courses:

MSc in risk and environmental hazards
MA in risk and security
MA in risk, health and public policy

Each scholarship provides tuition fees at Durham University, a stipend to cover living costs (for one person only), and return air travel from the scholar’s home country.

Eligibility
The scholarships are open to applicants from Afghanistan, Indonesia, Nepal, and Palestine (Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel are also eligible to apply).

Applicants must:

be nationals of, and normally resident in, the selected country during the academic year in which they apply for the award; applicants who are temporarily out of the country (for a total period of less than three consecutive months) may be treated as being resident;
display intellectual ability and leadership potential;
already hold (or expect to hold by the time of taking up the award) a first degree of an equivalent standard to an upper UK second-class Honours degree;
have passed an appropriate English language test by the time of taking up the award. For the Risk Masters this would be an English language test score with overall band score of at least 6.5 in the IELTS test (with a writing score of 7.0 or above and no other element below 6.0) or at least 96 in the TOEFL IBT (Internet Based Test) (with individual components of Writing 27, Speaking 23, Listening 23, Reading 23 or above);
return to their home country at the end of their scholarship period to continue their studies / work there.

Erasmus Mundus EXPERTS Scholarships, Europe

EXPERTS is a scholarship projects funded by the European Commission targeted at citizens of Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

In accordance with the EMA2 call, the objective of the EXPERTS project is to facilitate collaborations between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from South and Southeast Asia (SSEA) and EU through the exchange of information in science and policy issues while sharing key issues of sustainable development in academic cooperation.

The project provides the following mobility scholarships from South and South-East Asia to European partner universities (Please note- there are no scholarships from EU to SSEA)–

Undergraduate and graduate students
PhD students
PostDocs
Staff (both academic and administrative)

The EXPERTS aims to establish an innovative framework for capacity development of junior faculty staff, undergraduates, postgraduates, and postdoc researchers through training and upgrading their skills in specified fields of study through a scheme of structured mobility.

Note:

In order to be an elegible candidate, you must have not resided nor have carried out your main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the European countries.
No student, and no academic staff member can benefit from more than one mobility activity within the same project.
There are no mobility flows for students and academic staff between institutions in SSEA countries of the partnership. Mobility is only from SSEA countries to Europe.

Japanase Language and Culture Studies Program, University of Hokkaido

Japanase Language and Culture Studies Program is an opportunity for students from University of Hokkaido’s partner to learn and improve their Japanese proficiency. The program consist of three types of courses: Japanese language; Japansese culture and society; and independent study. The program will start on October 1, 2012 and finish on September 30,2013. Highly competitive MEXT scholarship is available for this program.

Qualification of applicants

Undergraduate student from Universitas Gadjah Mada at their 3rd – 6th semester
Majoring in Japanese language and culture
Passed level 3 or above of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or have equal ability with sucessful applicants of the test

Beasiswa Alumni Program Pascasarjana FTI Universitas Islam Indonesia

Program Beasiswa Alumni Program Pascasarjana (PPs) FTI UII adalah beasiswa yang diberikan oleh PPs FTI UII bagi alumni S1 Jurusan Teknik Industri atau Teknik Informatika yang akan menempuh studi di PPs FTI, baik di Magister Teknik Industri (MTI) maupun Magister Teknik Informatika (MI). Beasiswa yang diberikan berupa biaya pendidikan hingga 50% dari total biaya pendidikan selama di PPs FTI UII yang ditempuh maksimal selama empat semester.
