THE GOVERNMENT OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM SCHOLARSHIP TO FOREIGN STUDENTS TENABLE IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to invite applications for the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship to Foreign Students Tenable in Brunei Darussalam for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Scholarship provides applicants with the opportunity to pursue studies at the Diploma, Undergraduate Degree and Postgraduate Master’s Degree level at the following institutions of higher education in Brunei:

The Khalifa University Medical Scholarship program supports students who have chosen to pursue a career that will positively impact on people’s lives. This program offers scholarships to all students to support graduate studies in medicine. Students who receive a Khalifa University (KU) Medical Scholarship will be registered in the Pre-Medicine Bridge program. Please note that scholarship benefits are subject to change.
KU Medical Scholarship for UAE Nationals
A monthly stipend of AED27,000.
Full university tuition paid by the university.
Support to attend educational events locally and internationally.
Housing in university accommodations at no cost, subject to availability.
The School of Chemistry will offer one scholarship for students starting a full-time MSc programme in the 2020-2021 academic session.
The Tercentenary International Masters Scholarship Scheme helps outstanding postgraduate taught masters students from outside the United Kingdom and European Union to study in the School of Chemistry by providing for some of the costs of their training.
Awards
The scholarship will have a value of £28,600 and will cover your tuition fees and will be tenable for one academic session. This award cannot be held concurrently with fully-funded scholarships. It can, however, be combined with other partial funding.
Eligibility
The scholarship is offered to applicants who are liable for the overseas rate of tuition fees and starting a full-time MSc programme in the School of Chemistry in September 2020 on either the:
MSc Medicinal & Biological Chemistry
MSc Materials Chemistry
Applicants to the MSc Research programme will not be considered for this award.

Can I apply?
Applicants must:
Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
Have applied and be eligible for admission, or be in receipt of a conditional or unconditional offer from the University, for entry into the Doctor of Medicine by the scholarship closing date.
Have satisfied all appropriate entry requirements for the proposed degree program, including results of previous study and English language proficiency as per Griffith University’s entry requirements.
Be commencing and enrolling as a new a full-time student in the Doctor of Medicine degree at Griffith University.
What do I include in my application?
Applicants must provide and will be assessed by a University panel on:
A completed scholarship application form by the published closing date.
A certified/attested true copy of academic transcripts and supporting documentation demonstrating strong academic merit.
Assessment of a Personal Statement addressing the three questions listed below for applicants to outline their merit for the scholarship:
Demonstrate (and provide examples of) your knowledge of the profession of medicine and the broader role of medicine in the health care system.
Demonstrate (and provide examples of) your leadership and team work skills. Please also indicate your career plans for the future.
Outline any challenges you have faced in your education and in what way you have sought to overcome these challenges.
have a degree in a relevant subject and some initial research experience
or
be a clinically qualified doctor (and be qualified to enter higher specialist training), vet, dentist or clinical psychologist, and have some initial research experience.
If you don’t have a PhD, we would expect you to register for one if you’re awarded this fellowship.
You must want to undertake a guided period of research so that you can consolidate your existing experience and explore new areas of research.
hold a clinical or non-clinical undergraduate degree in a relevant subject
be at an early stage in your career with limited research experience (but you must have demonstrated interest in, or aptitude for, research).
Your research proposal
Your research proposal should be within our science remit and focus on a health priority in a low- or middle-income country.
When we consider your application, we’ll look at the:
quality and importance of your research question(s)
feasibility of your approach to solving these problems
suitability of your choice of research environments
suitability of the taught Master of Science (MSc) course you select – it should take place at a recognised centre of excellence and provide you with training that will complement your research project.
You are able to apply for the GREAT Scholarships – Indonesia 2019 if you meet the following criteria:
Hold an unconditional or conditional offer of entry to the University of Dundee for September 2019 entry, for an undergraduate programme not in the School of Medicine or Dentistry
Reside in Indonesia and hold an Indonesian Passport
Are classified as Overseas Fee Status as confirmed in your offer letter by the University of Dundee
If you currently have a full scholarship from another source, you are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
If you have a partial scholarship from another source, for example the University of Dundee Global Excellence Scholarship, then you are able to apply for this scholarship.
