Space Studies Scholarships, International Space University, France

The International Space University is provided funding from industry and government agencies to help support MSS, SSP and SH-SSP students who are unable to cover all of their tuition fees. This aid is available to selected applicants, and covers a portion of their tuition fees. It is paid directly to ISU by the sponsoring organization. Please note that the MSS scholarships do not cover living expenses, which need to be secured by the applicants.

This financial aid is available for:

  • Applicants from Europe (the countries listed below have priority*)
  • Applicants from the United States, Canada and Australia
  • Applicants from developing countries
  • Applicants from other countries (within the limits of funds available)

The 2018 DJ Program Scholarship, was created to acknowledge and support students (newly enrolling DJ Program students) who demonstrate the ability successfully blend and transition between tracks, and can clearly articulate their professional goals in the music industry as a DJ.

International Musicians Merit Scholarship, Musicians Institute, USA

Musicians Institute has created the International Musicians Merit Scholarship specifically to assist advanced musicians from outside the United States with their educational development.

Musicians Institute USA

Award

  • The total scholarship award will be $1,000 per quarter.

Eligibility

  • Available to International students with a valid F-1 visa only.
  • Scholarship applicants must have submitted a complete Application for Admission by the scholarship application due date, and must be entering for the program for the first time.
  • May be applied to Certificate or Degree in Guitar, Bass, Vocal, Drum, or Keyboard Performance programs or Degree in Music Composition program. (MI Select and MI Select Express programs are not eligible.)
  • Award recipients will be notified two to three weeks after the application due date.

Requirements

  • Complete applications must be received by scholarship due date. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • The total scholarship amount will be divided by the total number of quarters in the particular program and credited toward each quarter’s tuition in equal amounts for as long as the student maintains a 3.5 GPA.
  • Scholarships are non-transferable, and may not be applied to any person, program or start date other than the one for which it was awarded.

Melodic Soloing Scholarship, Musicians Institute, USA

The Melodic Soloing Scholarship was created to recognize and support the creative skills, talent, tone and taste required to play improvised melodic guitar solos in any style. The scholarship is generously funded by an MI Guitar Program alumnus (GIT class of 1980) and is provided to encourage and support the educational growth of a newly enrolling Associate of Arts (Guitar) program student.

University of Nottingham UKHuman Rights Law Centre is pleased to announce two scholarships for our International Human Rights Law Short Course running from 1 October 2018 until 7 December 2018.

What is the Anamax Charitable Foundation Scholarship?
A Chemistry graduate of the University of Nottingham and his wife, a lawyer, have established scholarships to assist overseas students in International Human Rights Law.

The scholarships are to be awarded to candidates from developing countries in which increased awareness of human rights can be seen to be needed and who would return home to work in human rights. The Pat Hicks Memorial Guitar Scholarship was created to honor Musicians Institute cofounder Pat Hicks, and will be awarded in Fall 2018 to an intermediate or advanced student (U.S. or non-U.S. citizens) enrolling in the Associate of Arts in Performance (Guitar) program who demonstrates overall outstanding musicianship, passion for the instrument and the potential for developing their own individual sound or unique voice on the instrument in any style or genre.

Fulbrights Grants for Indonesian Lecturers – Visiting Scholar Program, American Indonesian Exchange Foundation, USA

FulbrightThis grant is for Indonesian scholars who hold a doctoral or equivalent degree and intend to carry out research for four to six months in the US.

Interested scholars must be permanent lecturers at an Indonesian university and hold a Nomor Induk Dosen Nasional, or NIDN.

General Requirements
The applicants should:

  • Be Indonesian citizens and not permanent residents of the US, or be currently living in the US
  • Possess leadership qualities and show experience in community service
  • Have preparation in, and a demonstrated commitment to their chosen field of study
  • Be proficient in English
  • Have an outstanding academic record
  • Demonstrate that they can realistically conduct research in the US

Applicant will be ineligible if he or she is an employee, close family member of an employee, or dependent of an employee of AMINEF, the US Embassy, or the US Department of State.
