International Huxley Scholarships, University of Brighton, UK

University of Brighton UKWe offer a number of £2,000 scholarships for international students studying certain MSc and MRes programmes within the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences.

Criteria
The criteria for awarding the Huxley scholarships are primarily based on merit.

  • Merit does not necessarily have to mean academic merit but could also be interpreted to include outstanding performance in a variety of spheres.
  • The strongest candidates will be those demonstrating an understanding of the school’s research expertise.

Who is eligible
In order to be eligible to apply for a Huxley scholarship you must be a new, full-time, self-funding international masters student on one of the following courses:

Students become eligible to apply once they have enrolled on year one of their course.

The scholarship cannot be awarded until full payment of fees has been made.

Tehran University of Medical Sciences International Scholarships, Iran

Tehran University of Medical Sciences IranTehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), would like to announce a General scholarship for International students. All applicants must sign up, complete and submit TUMS online application form.

TUMS does not charge a fee to apply, our application forms are free to complete and open to all interested students.

Our admission representatives will review every student’s application and documents on individual bases and respond via email directly to the student.

All applicants, interested in continuing their education at TUMS should complete TUMS application form to be considered for this Scholarship. Please attach a scholarship request letter describing your needs and the reason you should be awarded.

PhD Studentships, School of Life and Health Sciences, Aston University, UK

PhD Studentships for international overseas students with bursaries available against fees. Projects are available in research groups allied to Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, Optometry and Psychology.

Applications are invited for three year Research Studentships to be undertaken in the School of Life and Health Sciences at Aston University to start in July or October 2010.

The School of Life and Health Sciences is equipped with state-of-the- art facilities to pursue cutting-edge research. In the 2008 RAE, 85% of the research in the School of Life and Health Sciences was ranked as being of international quality, and the School was ranked 3rd out of 61 UK University submissions to Allied Health Professions and Studies for quality and volume of research. The School currently has a research income of about £8m, with approximately 75 research students, (part time and full-time), who are registered in the School each year.
