Up to three PhD scholarships are offered per year in Accounting and/or Finance. Any area of study will be considered within these disciplines.

The University of Edinburgh Business School Scholarships, UK

The University of Edinburgh Business School is offering a number of scholarships covering part of the fees for students commencing study of one of our Masters courses in September 2017. These will be based on merit and available to all applicants for all the Business School taught MSc courses.

Eligibility
The scholarships will be available for all our taught Masters courses and for all nationalities.

Scholarships will be deducted from the tuition fees payable. Applicants who are fully sponsored by their employer or are in receipt of a full scholarship are not eligible for these scholarships.

Individuals who have already accepted a scholarship from the University of Edinburgh will not be eligible to also accept a scholarship from the Business School. If however an individual has been given a partial scholarship from another source, not from the University of Edinburgh, then they will be eligible to accept one of the scholarships on offer from either the University of Edinburgh Business School or from the wider University of Edinburgh Scholarship on offer.

Centre for Accounting and Society Scholarships, University of Edinburgh Business School, UK

The Centre for Accounting and Society (CAS) aims to study how accounting, the accounting profession and various calculative practices impact on the management and governance of organizations, cultural formations, and the definition of economic and social relationships. It is seeking two dynamic researchers to join a group of globally recognised academics.

Award details
The award will be for three years, subject to satisfactory progress, at the following rates:

  • European Union candidates: standard EU tuition fee plus maintenance fee of £14,000 per year
  • Non-European Union candidates: standard non-EU tuition fee plus maintenance fee of £14,000 per year

Eligibility
The Centre for Accounting and Society at the University of Edinburgh seeks two dynamic researchers to join a group of globally recognised academics exploring issues relating to:
