College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences
We bring together internationally-renowned experts in order to advance research in medical, veterinary and life sciences. For September 2016 academic session our College is offering 5 scholarships worth £10,000 each towards the tuition fee of a one year Masters programme.

We have the following programme specific scholarships* for September 2016 start:

MSc Brain Sciences: £10,000
MSc Immunology & Inflammatory Disease: £10,000
MSc Biomedical Sciences: £10,000
MSc Biotechnology & Management: £10,000
MSc Health Technology Assessment: £10,000

These scholarships are towards the tuition fee.

Eligibility
These scholarships are open to international students applying to all on-campus programmes listed above within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of their application for admission.

Joseph Lister Scholarships, University of Glasgow, UK

We bring together internationally-renowned experts in order to advance research in medical, veterinary and life sciences. For September 2014 academic session our College is offering 5 scholarships worth £10,000 each towards the tuition fee of a one year Masters programme.

Eligibility
The scholarships will be awarded to applicants from Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia*, Mexico or Thailand. They are open to students applying to all programmes within the College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow. The criteria for the scholarships is academic excellence and personal achievement, you must be a conditional or unconditional offer holder in order to be considered. Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship, University of Glasgow, UK

The University of Glasgow will award a total of 30 undergraduate scholarships of £5,000 per annum. The scholarship will be awarded as a tuition fee discount for students starting a full time Undergraduate degree programme (non clinical) in September 2014.

Value: £5,000 per annum

Eligibility: The scholarships are competitive and awarded on the basis of academic merit. Applicants must be nationals of a country outwith the EU and must have firmly accepted an offer of a place on a full-time basis for undergraduate study at the University of Glasgow. Students already on a programme are not eligible.

Adam Smith Business School PhD Studentship, University of Glasgow, UK

University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School PhD studentship Competition 2014
Applications are invited for a number of Scholarships being offered by the Adam Smith Business School for PhD study in Accounting & Finance, Business and Management or Economics:

Eligibility
Home/EU and international applicants are eligible to apply as well as existing University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School PhD students who started in year one within 12 months of the scholarship deadline. Both full-time and part-time students are eligible.

The Award
The scholarship will run for a maximum of three years full-time (2 years if awarded to 1^st year Glasgow PhD student) or 5 years part-time commencing In September/October 2014 and will provide:

an annual bursary equivalent to the RCUK rate – £13,863 (£6931.50 part-time) for 2014/15
fees at the standard Home/EU or International rate
a research support grant of £750 (£375 part-time) per annum

University Trust International Leadership Scholarship, University of Glasgow, UK

The University of Glasgow offer 23 University Trust International Leadership scholarships to international (non-EU) students starting a postgraduate taught Masters programme in Engineering in January 2014.

Value: 3 awards worth £10,000 and 20 awards worth £5,000 will be awarded as a tuition fees discount.

Eligibility:

Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence and must achieve the international equivalent of a UK first class honours degree.
Candidate must also hold an offer of a place for a one-year postgraduate taught masters in Engineering at the University of Glasgow for January 2014 entry.
Candidates must be classed as International students for fee purposes

Apply: Applicants must submit a 500-word statement detailing the reasons why you have selected this particular programme of study, how this programme will support future academic or career goal, and how you will benefit from the scholarship.

Institute of Neuroscience & Psychology International Scholarship, University of Glasgow, UK

International applicants from outside the UK/EU will be considered for the Institute of Neuroscience & Psychology International Scholarship.

Value: £2,000
