This Scholarship is to encourage international practicing artists and designers to undertake study at UNSW Art & Design.

Amount: $5,000 (paid in two instalments)

Application Eligibility
Full-time Masters (by Coursework) students studying at UNSW Art & Design

Residency requirement
Citizen of an overseas country, excluding New Zealand, and not normally reside in Australia.

Selection criteria
Selection will be based on academic merit, reasons for undertaking the current and/or proposed study, interview performance if required, and the relevance of his/her participation in study at UNSW Art & Design to its international projects and programs.

All applicants must provide a written personal statement that addresses the selection criteria to support their application. Additional supporting documentation can also be attached.

Hary and Liliana Tanoesoedibjo Scholarship, University of New South Wales, Australia

University of New South WalesThe Hary and Liliana Tanoesoedibjo Scholarship in Business was established to encourage and support an international student to undertake full-time postgraduate coursework.

The Scholarship will be applied against tuition fees in equal instalments across the duration of the full-time postgraduate coursework (Masters or AGSM MBA) program based on the minimum duration of the program undertaken. The continuation of the scholarship will be subject to the recipient maintaining good academic standing which is considered a pass grade in all courses.

Applicants must gain acceptance into a full-time postgraduate coursework program (Masters or AGSM MBA) at the Australian School of Business at UNSW in 2014.

Recipients should not normally hold any other scholarship or award except with the permission of the UNSW Scholarships Office.

International High Achiever Scholarships, University of New South Wales, Australia

The College of Fine Arts (COFA) is offering a number of scholarships to International high achieving students commencing their studies in 2012.

University of New South Wales All international students who have submitted an application to study at UNSW and who have an unconditional offer by 30 April 2012 for Semester 2, 2012 will be automatically considered for these scholarships. No separate scholarship application is required.

Successful recipients of the International High Achiever Scholarships will be advised as follows Semester 2 2012 – from May 2012 through to July 2012

NRF Clean Energy PhD Scholarships, Economic Development Board, Singapore

The NRF (Clean Energy) PhD Scholarships offer support for up to four years of academic pursuit, leading to a PhD in related disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. All research topics should be in the following areas related to Clean Energy, with focus on solar:

  • Smart grid technology
  • Carbon capture & utilization
  • Other renewable energies

The Wightman Postgraduate Scholarship in Architecture

The Scholarship is established to assist students to undertake Postgraduate study in Architecture in the Faculty of the Built Environment at UNSW. This Scholarship is available to both international and local students. Scholarship recipients must be undertaking full-time Postgraduate study in the Faculty of the Built Environment at UNSW. The Scholarship is open to graduates from UNSW or from any other institution approved by the Dean of the Faculty of the Built Environment – having completed the degree of Bachelor of Architecture (or its equivalent), or a degree in an Architecture related field, as determined by the Dean. The successful applicant must be enrolled within three months of accepting the award and may, with the permission of the Dean, be permitted to undertake up to 20 hours of paid employment in each week.
