Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) International Scholarship, University of Strathclyde, UK

The University of Strathclyde is delighted to offer international applicants the opportunity to receive a partial scholarship towards the tuition fees for the Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) for our Primary and Secondary programmes.

Eligibility
To qualify for this award, applicants must hold an offer to study and be eligible to pay the overseas tuition fee on the PGDE (Primary or Secondary) programme. The scholarship will be deducted from the tuition fee.

Applicants with a Second Class Upper (2:1) or Second Class Lower (2:2) or equivalent will be eligible for an award of £2,000.

Applicants with a First Class Honours (1st) or equivalent will be eligible for the Dean’s International Excellence Award of £3,000 towards tuition fees.

MSc International Master Project Management Scholarships, University of Strathclyde, UK

University of StrathclydeMIP and Strathclyde Business School are delighted to offer up to 6 partial, merit-based tuition Scholarships. The closing date for consideration of the scholarships is 1 June 2018.

The awards are €6,000 for non-EU candidates €4,000 for EU candidates.

Candidates must be self-funded (ie: not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship etc) and already hold an offer of a place on the MSc International Master Project Management for September 2018 entry. The Scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their Masters programme application excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.

Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarships, University of Strathclyde, UK

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde is offering a substantial number of scholarships for new self-funded, international (non-EU) fee paying students with excellent academic qualifications who have applied for a relevant course of study and are commencing their studies from September 2017 or later on in the 2017-2018 academic year. Students may be eligible for a Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship (FEES) towards their tuition fees of up £3,600* for the first year of their course of study.

Undergraduate

  • £3,600 scholarships towards course tuition fees are available for the first year of an undergraduate programme. Students must achieve an average of 75% + (or equivalent) in their high school grades to be considered.

Postgraduate Taught

  • £2,700 scholarships towards course tuition fees are available for an MSc programme. Students must achieve a minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree to be considered.

Postgraduate Research

  • A number of scholarships of up to £3,600 towards course tuition fees for the first year of a full-time PhD are available. Please note, applications are still being accepted for students commencing their PhD in academic session 2016-2017**.

Who is eligible?
All self-funded, new international (non-EU) fee paying students holding an offer and wishing to commence their full-time undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme at Strathclyde in academic year 2017-2018 are eligible to apply.

Strathclyde Research Studentship, University of Strathclyde, UK

Under the Strathclyde Research Studentship scheme the University awards around 70 PhD studentships annually for students commencing their postgraduate studies across all 4 Faculties; Business, Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences and Science. The funds are split between Student Excellence Awards (see below), Research Excellence Awards and John Anderson Research Awards. Students successful in the 2016/17 competition will commence studies in October 2016.
