Wimbledon Trust Bursaries, University of the Arts London, UK

The Wimbledon Trust Bursaries of £5000 each are available for two Home, EU or International students accepted on any Master’s Degree course at Wimbledon College of Arts, University of the Arts London.

One of the bursaries will be offered to recent graduates from Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon and the second will be offered to new students. The bursaries will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit and, will be a contribution towards tuition fees.

Applications are welcome from those who are in financial hardship and will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential.

All applications must be supported with an academic or professional reference.

To be eligible for The Wimbledon Trust Bursaries, applicants must have accepted a place on a full-time Master’s degree at Wimbledon College of Arts, commencing October 2017.

The Assessment Procedure for Applications
Your application will be initially assessed by University of the Arts London Student Funding Service based on the financial information supplied in your application and ranked according to financial need. Further evidence may be requested at a later date.

Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate International Scholarships, University of the Arts London, UK

We have two types of UAL Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Scholarships on offer, each with different eligibility criteria. One offers a £5,000 tuition fee remission, and the other a £25,000 award and accommodation generously provided by International Students House (ISH).

Applications for the UAL Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Scholarships for 2017/18 entry are now open. Your completed application form and supporting evidence must be submitted by 4pm BST on Wednesday 31 May 2017.

Partial tuition fee remission award
25 scholarships are available to applicants meeting eligibility criteria. A scholarship provides a £5,000 tuition fee remission for a full-time taught masters course at one of UAL’s six Colleges starting in the academic year of 2017/18.

Patrick and Kelly Lynch Scholarship, University of the Arts London, UK

A scholarship has been established by University of the Arts London patrons Patrick and Kelly Lynch for students who wish to study fine art at postgraduate level. The scholarship is open to Home, EU and International students accepted on the full-time MA Fine Art course at Chelsea College of Arts.

The scholarship will fully fund tuition fees for a Home/EU student, and will be contribution of towards tuition fees for an International student. Applications are encouraged from students who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential and who are in financial hardship.

To be eligible for The Patrick and Kelly Lynch Scholarship, applicants must be:

  • Accepted for a full-time Masters Degree in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design, commencing September 2014. AND
  • An undergraduate student expecting to graduate with a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors Degree (with Honors’) from a Higher Education institution, or an HE accredited Further Education institution by 31st July 2014. OR
  • A graduate, having already gained a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors Degree from a Higher Education institution, or an HE accredited Further Education institution. OR (for applicants without a bachelor’s degree)
  • Able to demonstrate substantial equivalent and applicable experience.

The Fashion Matters MA Scholarships, University of the Arts London, UK

The Fashion Matters MA Scholarships aim is to promote postgraduate studies at the London College of Fashion to students with the ability and potential to make an exceptional contribution to the fashion industry and in particular the footwear and accessories industries.

Three selected students accepted on the full-time MA Footwear Course or the MA Artefact Course at London College of Fashion, will be awarded for enrolment in September 2014. Further conditions are detailed below.

Eligibility criteria for The Fashion Matters MA Scholarships, applicants must be:

  • Accepted for a full-time MA Footwear Course or the MA Artefact Course at London College of Fashion, commencing September 2014. AND
  • A graduate from the BA (Hons) Footwear or the BA (Hons) Accessories Course at London College of Fashion within the last three years.

Terms of The Fashion Matters MA Scholarships
The fashion Matters MA Scholarships are worth £15,000 each and will cover full tuition fees and some maintenance for a Home/EU recipient and a contribution towards tuition fees for an Overseas recipient. Applicants must enrol on their postgraduate course in the same academic year for which they have applied for funding. If any applicant is unable to do this for any reason the scholarship will be withdrawn.

The Mona Hatoum Scholarship
Application guidelines for October 2013 entry

A Scholarship has been established through a donation from former Visiting Professor, Honorary Fellow and Byam Shaw Alumna Mona Hatoum. The scholarship is worth £15,000 and will be a contribution towards tuition fees for a student accepted on the Extended Full-time MA Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

Applications open to International students only who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential and who are unable to finance themselves through their studies. The scholarship will be awarded according to financial need and academic merit

To be eligible for the Mona Hatoum Scholarship, applicants must be:

  • An International student AND
  • Accepted for a full-time Masters Degree in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College, commencing October 2013. AND
  • An undergraduate student expecting to graduate with a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors Degree (with Honors’) from a Higher Education institution, or an HE accredited Further Education institution by 31st July 2013. OR
  • A graduate, having already gained a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors Degree from a Higher Education institution, or an HE accredited Further Education institution. OR (for applicants without a bachelor’s degree)
  • Able to demonstrate substantial equivalent and applicable experience.

Guidelines for applicants
The new ISH/UAL Graduate Scholarships are combined tuition fee and residential scholarships offered to international students with the ability and potential to make an exceptional contribution to the creative community. Applications are specifically encouraged from students whose financial circumstances may otherwise prohibit them from the benefit of further study and in realizing their full potential.

The ISH/UAL Graduate Scholarships will be offered for the 2011/2012 academic year and are the product of a partnership between International Students House, one of London’s largest residences for international students and the University of the Arts London, one of world’s leading art and design institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a 2011/2012 ISH/UAL Graduate Scholarship, applicants must be:

  • Accepted onto one of the following courses at the following colleges:

The Cecil Lewis Sculpture Scholarships aim is to promote postgraduate studies at University of the Arts London for students with the ability and potential to make an exceptional contribution to the fine arts. The Scholarships will cover all tuition fees and provide a contribution towards maintenance expenses for two students accepted on a Masters Degree course to study sculpture at University of the Arts London.

Applications are encouraged from Home/EU and International students who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential and who are unable to finance themselves through their studies. The scholarships will be awarded according to financial need and academic merit.

Two scholarships – one worth £12,000 for a UK or an EU student and one worth £18,000 for an international student – are available to those accepted on a Masters Degree course to study sculpture at University of the Arts London. The Cecil Lewis Sculpture Scholarships aim is to promote postgraduate study at University of the Arts London to students with the ability and potential to make an exceptional contribution to the fine arts. The Scholarships are also to encourage applications from those unable to finance themselves through postgraduate study, and who will benefit from further study to realise their full potential.

To be eligible for The Cecil Lewis Sculpture Scholarships applicants must be:

  • Accepted on a full-time Masters Degree in Fine Art at University of the Arts London for the 2010/2011 academic year.

OR
