GEM Scholarship Programme, University of Twente, Netherlands

The Erasmus+ MSc Scholarship Programme provides a full scholarship that is available to students with a very good academic track record, and who are applying for the Erasmus+ GEM Master’s degree programme Geo-information Science and Earth Observation for Environmental Modelling and Management.

There are four tracks to choose from, which integrate academic excellence from the four universities in geospatial science applied to societal challenges for a sustainable world:

Track 1 – GEM for Urban-Rural Interactions
Track 2 – GEM for Land Use Systems
Track 3 – GEM for Ecosystems & Natural Resources
Track 4 – GEM4 Food Security

Tuition fees
Full coverage for both students from Programme and Partner Countries.

Travel and installation costs

Students from Partner Countries who reside <4000 KM** away from Coordinating HEI in Enschede, the Netherlands
EUR 1000 to be paid only once (not annually) when the student arrives at the first HEI. This is an incentive to help students with visa costs, temporary accommodations and any additional expenses
Travel allocation of EUR 2000 per year
Students from Partner Countries who reside > 4000KM** away from Coordinating HEI in Enschede, The Netherlands
EUR 1000 to be paid only once (not annually) when the student arrives at the first HEI. This is an incentive to help students with visa costs, temporary accommodation and any additional expenses
Travel allocation of EUR 3000 per year

Subsistence costs
EUR 1000 per month for maximum 24 months. The subsistence will not be disbursed when the student studies in his/her country of residence.

When a student studies in another partner country for more than 3 months then the monthly subsistence will be stopped until the student is back to the programme country.

Application requirements
The Erasmus+ GEM MSc Scholarship Programme is available for excellent students applying for the ITC Master’s degree programme “Geo-information Science and Earth Observation for Environmental Modelling and Management.”

Additional Requirements

Upper second class (2.1) BSc honours degree, or equivalent, from a recognised university in a discipline related to the course, preferably combined with work experience in a relevant field.
English: IELTS 6.5
Relevant background for the intended field of study
Not eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans.
Not having benefited from any other (previous) Erasmus Mundus scholarship

FURTHER PROCESS
After receipt of your application, the additional information will be reviewed. ITC will acknowledge receipt of your application. If it is evident that you do not fulfil the minimum requirements for the Erasmus+ GEM MSc Scholarship Programme, you will be notified immediately.

After the dates of the deadline, a committee will make the final selection. The selection results will be announced before the 1^st of May. The candidates who will be offered a scholarship will be asked to confirm they accept the scholarship.

LPDP Scholarships, University of Twente, Netherlands

The Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) scholarship offers talented students from Indonesia the opportunity to obtain a Master’s or PhD degree at the University of Twente. The University of Twente is listed as one of the top 200 eligible and preferred LPDP foreign partner institutions.

The Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan / LPDP) finances higher education in Master’s and PhD programmes with the subject Remote Sensing at the University of Twente. The scholarship aims to support the supply of educated and qualified Indonesian human resources who also possess leadership quality and a strong vision as the future leader of Indonesia. The applicants targeted for the programme are Indonesian citizens with excellent academic achievement and strong leadership quality who wish to continue pursuing studies on Master’s and PhD programmes in the subject Remote Sensing at the University of Twente, be it in similar or different fields than ones they had previously studied. Orange Knowledge Programme, University of Twente, Netherlands

Nuffic’s Orange Knowledge Programme is a global development programme, funded by the Dutch government. The OKP programme was preceeded by the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP). The OKP programme has a duration of 5 years and involves around 50 countries.

The programme offers scholarships, training and institutional partnerships between education institutions in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and higher education, in fields related to the priority themes of the Dutch government:

Food and nutrition security
Water, energy and climate
Sexual and reproductive health and rights
Security and the rule of law

Scholarship value
The scholarship value depends on the duration of your programme at the University of Twente as well as on the in-house or external components. Please note that the scholarship does not cover all the costs of the study trajectory. It is not a full fellowship. Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika membuka Program Beasiswa S2 di Luar Negeri untuk mendukung program prioritas percepatan Transformasi Digitalisasi Nasional yang meliputi 4 (empat) sektor strategis, yaitu infrastruktur digital, pemerintahan digital, ekonomi digital dan masyarakat digital.

StuNed aims for the development of general, economic and environmental governance in Indonesia. To increase the institutional capacity of the Indonesian partner organizations and to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and the Netherlands and the effectiveness of the existing cooperation projects.
