International Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships, University of Western Australia

University of Western Australia Applications are invited from suitably qualified international students to apply for Australian Government International Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships to undertake the degree of Master by Research or Doctorate by Research at The University of Western Australia. An application for a scholarship is also an application for admission to the University.

The purpose of the RTP Scholarships are to attract top quality international postgraduate students to the University and to support Australia’s research effort. Successful applicants can expect to become members of a research team working under the direction of senior researchers and in an area which has attracted external resources.

These scholarships are funded by the Australian Government and cover International Tuition Fees for up to four (4) years, as well as Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the award holder and their dependents.

Successful applicants may also be awarded an International Postgraduate Living Allowance Scholarship, valued at AUD29,000 per annum.

The IWC Masters Scholarships are a prestigious award granted annually to high calibre candidates who clearly demonstrate potential as future water leaders. Scholarships are available to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) at The University of Queensland in Australia.

The International WaterCentre (IWC) is offering up to three scholarships for international candidates for full-time study of the MIWM program starting in Semester 1, 2017. These include:

Eligibility requirements
To apply for a scholarship, you must:

  • Have completed an undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution;
  • Have at least two years of professional experience (paid work or volunteering experience) relevant to the program;

Although professional experience is not essential for admission in the MIWM program, candidates with relevant professional experience have a higher chance of securing a scholarship – see Selection Criteria below.

  • International candidates must also demonstrate English Language Proficiency (see UQ’s Policy including minimum scores for IELTS, TOEFL or PTE). A proof of English language proficiency needs to be uploaded with the online application form.

University of Western AustraliaThe International Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and enthusiasm for science research for students from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

A total of three scholarships are available and each scholarship is valued at $15,000 over three years
