Women and Diversity Undergraduate Scholarship – PT. Thiess Contractors Indonesia

Our scholarships support students through their studies and provide them with an opportunity to launch their career in mining. The scholarship program is aligned with university semesters and students can also join our internship program across our mining projects.

Eira Francis Davies Scholarship, Swansea University, UK

The Eira Francis Davies Scholarship is a full tuition fee scholarship ordinarily awarded to one outstanding female student per academic year. The student must be a national of and resident in an eligible developing country, who pursues a postgraduate taught Master’s programme within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science.

Applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

hold a minimum 2:1 Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
have formally received an offer to study one of the following full-time, postgraduate taught Master’s programmes at Swansea University for entry September 2023:
be female.
be a new student to Swansea University from September 2024.
within their application, demonstrate strong academic ability, financial plan to study and motivation for their chosen course at Swansea University.
be a national, and permanent resident of an Eira Francis Davies Eligible Countries 2024 as listed by the World Bank Country and Lending Groups classification as being ‘low income’ or ‘lower-middle income’ as of 1 July 2023.
not receive any other financial support from Swansea University (e.g. tuition fee reduction, scholarship or bursary).
not be a progressing student from The College, Swansea University.

Beasiswa Kartini Sains mendanai pendidikan mahasiswa wanita tingkat master (baik M1 maupun M2) di bidang sains murni dan bertujuan untuk memperkuat posisi wanita dalam ranah penelitian ilmiah. Menurut UNESCO, peneliti wanita dunia hanya berjumlah 30% saja. Untuk itu, Prancis dengan bangga mendukung keberhasilan Indonesia yang memiliki jumlah peneliti wanita yang menonjol dari angka rata-rata dunia (46%).

Awarded to exceptional female candidates who demonstrate strong academic achievements, the Women in Finance and Tech Master Scholarship is open to female candidates of all nationalities at all our campuses.

The Women in Finance and Tech Scholarship is aimed to inspire talented female candidates to pursue graduate studies and a career in finance or technology.

Scholarship Award:

D’Addario Women in Guitar Scholarship, Musicians Institute, USA

The D’Addario Women in Guitar Scholarship, sponsored by The D’Addario Music Foundation, was created to assist advanced, stylistically diverse (newly enrolling or currently enrolled) female guitarists with their educational development.

AWARD

The total scholarship amount will be $1,500 credited towards the first quarter’s tuition, or next consecutive quarter for a current student awardee in good standing (if applicable).

Plato Investment Management Scholarship for Women in Finance, Australian National University, Australia

Dr Don Hamson, founder and Managing Director of Plato Investment Management Limited, has pledged funding for a scholarship to support female students pursuing an RSFAS Honours program.

Separate to the scholarship award, there is an opportunity for a paid internship (via mutual agreement between the recipient and Plato Investment Management) at Plato Investment Management Limited in Sydney to complement the complex research skills learnt on campus.

Eligibility
The award is available to an ANU student who:

is a domestic or international student;
identifies as female; and

International Fellowships Programme, Japanese Association of University Women, Japan

Japanese Association of University Women (JAUW) is now calling for Applications for its 2019 International Fellowships.

Objective of this Program
To allow promising researchers/graduate students in any field to spend a period of time in residence in a graduate/research institute etc. in Japan.

Outline of JAUW International Fellowship Program

The program is open to applications between November 2018 and March 31, 2019.
The program will allow maximum of 2 recipients, each winning between Yen500,000 and up to Yen1,000,000 to support transportation to and from Japan and cost for her stay in Japan.
The period of stay in Japan under this award is for 4 to 6 months between October 2019 and March 2020.
The program cannot be extended in any event.

Applicant Eligibility

Applicants must be of non-Japanese women in the age below 45.
Applicants must live outside Japan at the time of application.
Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree or above.
Applicants need to identify an institution/university in Japan where to conduct research.

They need to have contacted and obtained a consent from a host at the identified institution/university before application. JAUW won’t extend any help regarding this matter.
